Mystery Lovers Corner

Charlene Weir, the daughter of a Lutheran minister and the youngest of seven children, was born in Nortonville, KS, population between three and four hundred, depending on which brother is asked.  She grew up in Hutchinson, KS, which has two features of note, huge grain elevators that stretch for miles and salt mines underneath the town that the government is now using to store important documents.  After graduating from nurses' training she attended the University of Oklahoma and worked as a public health nurse.  She lives in northern California with a twenty pound cat who is always on the wrong side of the door.
