weddings can be murder
Read a Review:
Katie Ray lost her $8,000 engagement ring. Then she comes upon a murder and is chased by the murderer only to end up being locked in the murder victim's house with a sexy PI for many hours.
The murder victim, a wedding planner, had hired PI Carl Hades to investigate some missing brides.
The brides turn up dead and Carl worried Katie may be next. Can he protect her while unsure of his feelings for her?
In the meantime, Katie's best friend Leslie and Katie's fiancé Joe meet without knowing who each other is. They are attracted to each other. Once they know who they are, Leslie is uncertain of pursuing the relationship.
This is more romance than mystery, but I absolutely loved it. Considering I rarely read books with explicit sex, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I found myself having trouble putting it down. The author did such a great job of creating enough suspense to keep this mystery reader enthralled. Plus she did a fabulous job of intertwining the story of Katie and Carl with the story of Leslie and Joe. She knew just how far to go with each story before jumping to the next one to keep the reader guessing.
I highly recommend this book and hope there will be many more with these characters.

Author Christie Craig takes the reader on a ride between laughter and fear. The pace is as quick as the quips. While the characters moan and complain about their various love dilemmas they share humorous banter, making this trip to love a racy road.
Romance Reviews
...Although the plot is threaded with sassy humor, a lighthearted touch, and misaligned lovers hinting strongly of Shakespeare, a deranged psychopath, a trail of murdered brides, and threats of real danger keep the story on the suspenseful side. Craig's lively story puts a new spin on weddings and will appeal to those who like their lethal tales with a little humor on the side.
