WHODUNIT MYSTERY
OBLIVIOUS
Eccentric Olivia Chatham has found her life’s calling. Crime buster. Tucker Monroe, a mysterious newcomer to the small Wisconsin town, discovers he, too, has a mission. Keeping up with her.
Read A Review:

Olivia Chatham is loved by everyone in town. She believes she was born luck, and she bestows that luck on others in town. She helps them with whatever they need. She just does it in a way they don't feel like it's charity.

Recently she moved back in with her parents in Chatham. The town was named after one of her great grandfathers.

A murder shocks the small town. Olivia sets out to help. She meets Tucker Monroe, a stranger who recently arrived in town. He chose the town to get away from a bad romance. He likes the small town. Olivia turns out to be part of his alibi, and they begin working together to try to solve the crime. Olivia's best friend Josie helps as well. She gets close to Ben, a policeman, to get information, and soon a romance develops.

Tucker has his work cut out for him trying to keep Olivia safe. She is very trusting and naïve and the killer uses that to his advantage.

This is a cute cozy mystery with a very likeable protagonist. I really enjoyed it. Olivia's simplicity sometimes surprised me, but in the end she is just such a great character you can't help but love her. Tucker is fabulous, too. They work really well together, too. I enjoyed their interactions and learning about each other.

Josie is a great best friend. She is a big help in the investigation as well. Her worldly knowledge helps Olivia through some of the sticky parts she doesn't understand.

I highly recommend this book and look forward to many more adventures.

Oblivious seems to be a good word to describe Olivia.  She is a quirky character.  She won’t sleep with a man unless she’s married to him, so she’s been married and divorced three times.  She does acts of goodness for her fellow townspeople but doesn’t want anyone to know.  She’s almost childlike.

But there is more to Olivia than what one may see at first glance.  When a murder happens in her town, Olivia decides to try to solve the mystery.  She uses her instincts and her good luck to investigate.  She is helped by Josie, her best friend, and Tucker, the new to town man who falls for her.

This is a decent mystery with good twists and turns.  There is humor in this book as well since Olivia is a funny character—even though sometimes readers may be laughing more at her than with her.

I gave this book a 4/5 rating.

This is a laugh out loud masterpiece. Wholly clean, it intrigues you and keeps you smiling from beginning to end. Olivia is utterly charming and I hope this is only her first outing as a sleuth. I love this book and it goes on my virtual keeper shelf.
