As Mattie Carrington writes her cookbook, her kitchen explodes, and her sister Katie and her boyfriend Eugene's "help" is about half aggravation and half comic relief. When she rents a cabin to work in peace, someone poisons her, and the whole thing is beginning to look like a recipe for trouble.
