A month-long trip to England during her
college years introduced Jo to the joys of Things British. Since
then, she has been lured back nearly a dozen times, and lived there
during her professional folksinging stint. This intimate knowledge of
England forms the backbone of the Brenna Taylor mysteries--a blend of
cozy and police procedural. Each novel features a specific English
custom or holiday as the backbone of the plot, and you can travel
through the calendar via Murder Most English. Jo enjoys photography,
bird watching, playing guitar and harpsichord, and cruising the
streets during police ride-alongs. Her three cats--Chaucer, Dickens
and Thackery--share her St. Louis home.
