Book #11 of the Dick Hardesty Mystery series finds Dick reluctantly seeking the killer of a man who deliberately spread the AIDS virus in the terrifying early days of the disease. But despite the serious subject of the book, it is lightened by the usual roster of interesting, likeable characters, ample clues, several red herrings, and the sense of humor for which the series is noted. A must read for any mystery buff of any orientation.
