cold-case killer
Read A Review:
Keely Moreno, a Florida foot reflexologist who solves crimes in her spare time, surely must be one of the more unusual amateur sleuths in the genre. Although she’s vowed to give up crime-solving, Keely just can’t say no to a woman who wants help in finding out who committed the murder that put her son behind bars. The investigation once again puts Keel square in danger’s crosshairs, but our heroine is a little too resourceful to get herself in any real trouble. This second book in the series is written with a light touch and plenty of offbeat appeal.
David Pitt, Booklist, January 2007
This cozy mystery is loaded with suspense woven into a well-developed mystery that will keep the reader eagerly engaged.
Christy Tillery French, Midwest Book Review, April, 2007
How do you solve a cold case in a hot town? If you’re in Key West, ask Keely Moreno for help. Though she wants to enjoy the Southernmost City’s sultry breezes, tropical sunsets and lazy sun-filled days, she finds herself pulled into a decades’ old murder case—at the request of her cleaning lady! Though Keely came to Key West to run a reflexology service in the quaint waterfront area known as Old Town, her typically kooky Key West clients pull her b back into detective work. She does have a knack for it! Will Keely discover who did murder Dyanne Darby over twenty years earlier, or will her amateur sleuthing rose the demons from her past? Dorothy Francis has created a tale full of authentic Key West characters and recognizable Key West locations which is intriguing and suspenseful. Don’t miss COLD-CASE KILLER—it’s a sizzler!
